Στην παρούσα εργασία παρουσιάζεται ένα πρόγραμμα επαγγελματικής ανάπτυξης με στόχο την ενδυνάμωση 12 εκπαιδευτικών προσχολικής ηλικίας στο σχεδιασμό του εκπαιδευτικού τους έργου λαμβάνοντας υπόψη τις δυνατότητες που προσφέρει για σκέψη, επικοινωνία και μάθηση η σχεδιαστική δραστηριότητα. Εφαρμόζοντας διαδικασίες συστηματικής παρατήρησης και καταγραφής στις τάξεις τους και αναλύοντας τις σχεδιαστικές προσπάθειες των παιδιών μέσω συλλογικού αναστοχασμού στο υποστηρικτικό περιβάλλον των ομαδικών συναντήσεων, οι εκπαιδευτικοί συν-διαμόρφωσαν, υλοποίησαν και αξιολόγησαν καινοτόμες δράσεις αξιοποίησης και ενίσχυσης της σχεδιαστικής δραστηριότητας των παιδιών. This study presents a seven-month professional development program which sought to empower 12 preschool teachers in their educational planning taking into account the opportunities drawing activity offers to young children for thinking, communication, and learning. Systematically observing and documenting drawing events in their classrooms, which were analysed through collective reflection in the supportive environment of group meetings, the teachers co-designed, implemented and evaluated innovative projects to capitalize on and enhance children's drawing activity.
