The Greek General and Comparative Literature Association, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1987 with the purpose of supporting and directing research and teaching in the field of General and Comparative Literature in Greece.

The journal receives unpublished texts (studies and book reviews) on the comparison of Greek literature with foreign literatures and the arts, in Greek, English or French, but will also accept texts written in other languages on a case by case basis.
